Takumi Nakamura, representing Northsails Japan, began sailing at 9 with Optimist class, progressing to Laser Radial in high school with national podiums. Twice a college national champion in Snipe class, he excelled in J24 and match racing, securing 2nd place at the 2006 J24 World and winning the 2008 ISAF Grade 2 Knickerbocker Cup. Simultaneously, he claimed 4th at the 2009 Snipe World. Nakamura also competed in Melges32 and Melges20 regattas, achieving 4th place at the 2009 Melges20 Worlds. His sail expertise extends to keelboats and UAE Dhow raceboats.Best Results
